Back in October, things got a bit spooky at the variety of Halloween events we held across North Lanarkshire.
We held a total of three spooky events: two Halloween parties organised by our incredible Working For Families teams, which were held in Cumbernauld and Wishaw, as well as a spooky movie event which was organised by our SPF31 team in Viewpark.
Working for Families' Halloween Parties
Our Incredible Working For Families team hosted two fantastic Halloween Parties that brought families together for an afternoon of fun. Events held at both the Link Centre in Cumbernauld and the Jim Foley Centre in Craigneuk allowed individuals from across North Lanarkshire to come along to enjoy the fun.
Both events were packed full of exciting activities that the whole family could enjoy, from dressing up, pumpkin carving, fun games and plenty of delicious food. Of course, who could forget about our very own dancing unicorn?
Both of these events were a tremendous success, with communities across North Lanarkshire coming together to celebrate with both new and existing clients. In fact, 17 of our attendees were existing clients.
Overall, the event was a massive success, with a whopping 97 North Lanarkshire residents coming along; 7 expressed an interest in registering with us.
SPF31 Halloween Movie Event
Elsewhere in North Lanarkshire, our SPF31 team was in Viewpark engaging with local residents during their spooky movie event, where they had kitted out the community centre with plenty of snacks ready to welcome the local community who came along to enjoy Hocus pocus.
Around 13 local residents came along to enjoy the movie, and as a result, 66% of eligible attendees expressed an interest in registering with us.
Overall, October was a spooky success here at Routes To Work. We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who came along to any of our events, and another thank you to all of the fantastic staff that go above and beyond to make these events a success.
