Key highlights
This past year at Routes To Work, we've continued to adapt in response to the needs of the North Lanarkshire community.
This year marked a significant transition, particularly with the end of the European Structural & Investment Funds (ESIF) and the launch of new programmes funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), but our focus to support our clients where they are remained the same.

New programmes with NHS Lanarkshire & North Lanarkshire Council
We expanded our work with NHS Lanarkshire and North Lanarkshire Council, launching programmes that provided 50 new work placements across healthcare and support services.
‘Work of value’ support up 9%

We define ‘work of value’ as something each individual having a minimum of three successful interventions after initial contact and registration activities. Not only was it an increase of 9% from the previous year but it was an increase of 18% on the last pre-covid year of 2019/20.
