Warehouseperson/Store person/Labourer

The company is a family haulage company who has been operating in the Coatbridge area for the past 40 years. They are involved in the transport of containers, and storage in the warehouse where high value goods are stored.

The successful applicant will be required to work a 40-hour week in a normal shift pattern i.e. 8am-5pm with a 15 min morning and afternoon break and a 30 min lunch break.

The successful applicant will be provided with overalls and protective footwear.

Pay rate will be £12.21 per hour.

Duties

To follow instructions set out by management in ensuring that the warehouse and environment are clean and tidy and well maintained. Any skills and training that the applicant may have in welding and fabrication will be advantageous, this also applies to having any forklift experience. The applicant will be required to assist the yard team on any task set out by the yard supervisor and must be able to take and receive instructions but also able to work on their own initiative.

Essential Requirements

The applicant must be motivated to perform their duties as outlined and willing to listen and learn.

Desirable Requirements

Some knowledge of warehousing is desirable, however training and guidance will be given during the period.
