GENERAL/CATERING ASSISTANT

COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

The Manorview Foundation is a registered charity with an aim to help people living in poverty in Scotland.  We do this in our community Hub by providing tasty meals, warm spaces and supporting the community with informative/fun sessions all free of charge.

We are looking for a team member to join on a permanent basis based on 16 hours per week.  The shift pattern would potentially having some flexibility and the estimated working hours would be Monday 1.00pm-7.15pm / Tuesday 2.00pm-7.15pm / Wednesday 2pm -7.15pm

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our new Team member would be responsible for basic food catering for small group sessions.  We offer easy to prepare meals and would provide full training to the right candidate.  Other essential duties would also include the clean down procedures in the kitchen and also assisting in the main session area with basic housekeeping duties such as wiping down table, hoovering, monitoring toilets, to ensure high standards of cleanliness is met throughout the hub at all times.

Essential criteria: 

A successful applicant will be subject to a PVG check before employment can commence. No qualifications required; full training will be provided. The right candidate must have a genuine want to help others in the community and hard-working can-do attitude.
