Annual Report 2023-24
The pride we take in the work we do at Routes To Work is shared by our dedicated staff and stakeholders alike, as we continue making an impact in North Lanarkshire.
This year, our focus has been on meeting people where they are - both geographically and in their life journey.
As we’ve continued to navigate the challenges of a post-pandemic world, rising living costs, and the need for flexible working and therefore support, we’ve been committed to delivering person-centred services right at the heart of our communities.
And it’s led to incredible outcomes. In Newmains, 34 residents have secured employment, thanks to our tailored support.
We’ve also been there for individuals like Robert, who faced severe challenges with his housing and was successfully rehoused with the help of Sharon, his case worker. His story shows that our support goes far beyond finding a job—we’re here to improve lives holistically.
Through our hybrid working model and the passion of our staff, we’ve also seen a surge in internal collaboration, helping us deliver even better service.
This year’s Different and Better Awards celebrated staff like Jane Speirs, whose commitment helped 21 parents secure employment.
From assisting individuals with their mental health, improving financial well-being, and supporting families to building lasting connections within the community, Routes To Work has never been more determined to continue this life-changing work.
Together, we’re creating a brighter, more empowered North Lanarkshire.
